Construction Estimator - Commercial Canopies & Awnings

Do you take pride in getting the details right?
We're looking for a Construction Estimator to join our growing commercial canopies and awnings team at CSC Awnings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys studying plans, solving construction challenges, and building accurate estimates that help projects succeed before the first piece of material ever arrives on site.
Our estimators are craftsmen in their own right. Instead of working with tools in the field every day, they build projects on paper first. They measure, analyze, verify, and think through every detail to ensure our customers receive a quality product and our field teams have what they need to succeed.
If you enjoy construction, appreciate precision, and take ownership of your work, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform material takeoffs and quantity surveys
- Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
- Work directly with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotes
- Identify project risks, challenges, and opportunities before construction begins
- Prepare professional proposals and budgets
- Participate in project handoff meetings with operations teams
- Occasionally visit jobsites to better understand installation methods and project conditions
- Continue learning the products, systems, and installation methods used in commercial canopies and awnings
