About the Role

We’re looking for a commercial roofing estimator who cares about accuracy and scope, not sales pressure or rushing numbers out the door.

This position is for someone who likes digging into plans and specs, catching issues before they become problems, and producing estimates that can actually be built without surprises.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing detailed takeoffs and estimates for commercial roofing work
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Identifying missing scope, conflicts, and risk items up front
Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers when needed
Clearly documenting assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications
Supporting clean handoffs to project teams once jobs are awarded

This Is Not a Sales Job

No commission pressure
No “throw a number at it and move on” estimating
No guessing or vague expectations
We expect estimates to be complete and correct.

What We’re Looking For

Experience estimating commercial roofing projects
Full-time in office presence at our Kernersville, NC office
Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Detail‑oriented and consistent
Comfortable working independently and owning your work
FM, UL, and warranty knowledge is a plus
